Medical education department job opportunity, excellent salary .

Government Medical College, Srinagar has invited applications for appointment to various lecturer posts in the Department of Health and Medical Education. The total number of vacancies in all these posts is 18.

To apply for all these posts, the candidates must be permanent residents of the state of Jammu and Kashmir. Educational qualification is determined differently based on the expertise of different subjects.
The minimum age of candidates on all these posts should be 18 years and maximum age 40 years. The age of the candidates will be calculated from January 01, 2015. There is a provision to pay Rs 9,300-34,800 per month and grade pay of Rs 5,400 to all lecturers as pay scale.
Candidates who are already serving in the state will be given a relaxation of 5 years in the age limit. Other reserved category candidates will be given age relaxation as per rules.

All these posts will be accepted through offline applications. Under the application fee, Rs 500 has been fixed for general category candidates and Rs 250 for all other candidates.

To apply, candidates have to download the prescribed format of application form from the respective website and fill it. Attach the completed filled application form along with self attested copies of the necessary educational documents to the address of 'Secretary, Jammu and Kashmir Public Service Commission, Polo Maidan, Srinagar / Silk House Colony, Bakshi Nagar, Jammu-190009'.
