PDD daily wager dies while repairing HT line in Rajouri

A major protest rocked Thanamandi area on Thursday evening as a daily wager working with the Power Development Department got killed after receiving power shock from a High Tension feeder while repairing the same.

Incident took place on Thursday afternoon and the victim daily wager of the Power Development Department has been identified as Mohammad Makhna who was tasked to repair damaged High Tension power wire at Bhangai village of Thanamandi tehsil.

While repairing the HT feeder, the power was suddenly restored by the concerned receiving station and the daily wager got electrocuted.� said locals.
