Uttar Pradesh: Constables caught running 'sex racket' inside police outpost in Pilibhit

It seems the policing in the state of Uttar Pradesh has been turned into a joke. In yet another shocking incident reported from the state, two constables were allegedly caught running a sex racket from inside the police outpost in Pilibhit district. The two accused police constables, who were attached with Gadwakheda police outpost under Sehramau North police station, were also accused of blackmailing people using escort services to trap victims. The matter became public when a constable at the police outpost talked to a call girl and recorded the conservation, according to a report. After the expose, the Superintendent of Police Jai Prakash Yadav has suspended the constables. A departmental enquiry has also been ordered into the incident. The accused constables have been identified as Vitin Mishra and Pawan Mishra. The report further suggested that the constables sexually abused the woman and pressured her to trap young boys so that they can extort money from them. Senior police officials reached the police station after the audio recording became public. Meanwhile, the SP has also removed seven other police constables from the police outpost and attached them their respective with police stations.
