Majority rule Moderate Azad Party pioneer Ghulam Nabi Azad on Sunday said the result of the decisions to four state Gatherings would have a direction on the following year's Lok Sabha surveys. "We are simply there-and-a-half months from the Lok Sabha decisions. The consequences of these (Gathering) surveys will have a course on the parliamentary decisions," Azad told correspondents prior in the day when the patterns started to come in.

The BJP easily packed away Madhya Pradesh, Rajasthan and Chhattisgarh. Azad said, "One thing I have seen throughout the course of recent days is that the Congress has deserted the minorities. Azad, who quit the Congress to frame the Vote based Moderate Azad Party (DPAP), said while the BJP was not supposed to discuss the minorities, the amazing old party had additionally deserted them for the SCs and the STs throughout the long term. "It involves concern and needs considering over. While Indira Gandhi would discuss the Muslims and the SCs being poor, it later became minorities and SCs. The new administration over the beyond eight-nine years has disregarded the minorities and restricted itself to just the SCs and the STs," he added.
