The armed forces of India and the UAE today started a joint military activity 'Desert Twister' in Rajasthan's Mahajan region. This is the principal release of the joint activity being held from January 2 to 15, the Service of Protection said.

The UAE land powers contingent involves 45 work force from the Zayed First Unit. The Indian Armed force contingent involving 45 staff is being addressed by a brigade from the Motorized Infantry Regiment.

The point of the activity is to improve interoperability in sub-traditional tasks remembering battling for developed region in desert and semi-desert landscape. The degree is under the Unified Countries Sanction on harmony keeping tasks.

The activity will improve collaboration and interoperability between the two sides during harmony keeping tasks.
