Lok Sabha races 2024: PMK gets 10 seats in seat-offering arrangement to BJP in Tamil Nadu

The BJP on Tuesday secured a seat-imparting arrangement to the Dr S Ramadoss-headed Pattali Makkal Katchi (PMK) in Tamil Nadu for the April 19 Lok Sabha surveys, designating 10 seats to the local party.

BJP state president K Annamalai and PMK organizer Ramadoss marked the agreement at the Thailapuram home of the last option here.

The PMK is a Vanniyar people group ruled party and has huge impact in a portion of the northern regions of the state.

According to the comprehension, "PMK will battle from 10 seats in Tamil Nadu in the NDA," Annamalai later told columnists in a joint press preparation with PMK President and Rajya Sabha MP Dr Anbumani Ramadoss.

The two chiefs demanded that the PMK has been in the NDA for the beyond 10 years, battling the 2014 and 2019 Lok Sabha surveys as a constituent of the BJP-drove coalition.

Annamalai loaded acclaims on Ramadoss, saying he needed to carry out "progressive" thoughts to assist the general public which Top state leader Narendra Modi was doing by and by.

Association Priest L Murugan was available during the gathering between the top heads of the two gatherings.

Ramadoss could join the PM at a meeting scheduled later in neighboring Salem locale on Tuesday.
