Criminal Prasad Pujari, blamed for being associated with a few serious violations including murder, blackmail and grabbing, was taken back to India after his extradition from China in the extremely early times of Saturday, and was then positioned collared by the Mumbai police, an authority said.

Pujari's name came up on account of terminating on Shiv Sena laborer Chandrakant Jadhav, who lived in the Vikhroli region, in December 2019. He was secured by experts in Hong Kong in February 2023.
"Following a clue by the Interpol, Pujari was captured in Spring last year in Hong Kong on the charges of having a phony identification. He was held when he was planning to get onto a departure from Hong Kong to Shenzhen (city in China). Pujari, who is hitched to a Chinese public, was dwelling in Shenzhen with his better half and a kid at the hour of his capture," the authority added.
In 2020, the Mumbai police's wrongdoing branch had captured Pujari's mom, Indira Vitthal Pujari, for her supposed contribution on account of blackmail of a developer from Vikhroli.
She was captured under the Maharashtra Control of Coordinated Wrongdoing Act (MCOCA) for purportedly coercing Rs 10 lakh from a designer, the authority said.
Prasad Pujari used to blackmail cash from financial specialists and referred to individuals involving global numbers too and gave passing dangers to a portion of the main movie chiefs, makers and Bollywood entertainers. His pack is extremely dynamic in Mumbai, Thane and Navi Mumbai areas, he added.
In the wake of being ousted from China, he was brought to India right away around 1 am on Saturday.
