India is going to celebrate its 71st Republic Day on 26 January in 2020. Almost everyone knows that due to the Indian Constitution coming into force on 1950 January 26, Republic Day is celebrated on this day. But have you thought that the Indian Constituent Assembly adopted the Constitution on 26 November 1949 itself? Then why was it implemented on 26 January 1950? Do you know that the original copy of the Constitution of India is kept in a gas chamber? But why?

Let's know the answers to all these questions.

* The day of January 26 was chosen to implement the Constitution because the Indian National Congress declared India as full Swaraj on this day in the year 1930.
* Please tell that there is only the Constitution of India in the world, which is written by hand on hand made paper.
* A frame with gold leaves is made on every page of the constitution. Also, artwork has been made on the opening page of each chapter.
* The original copy of the constitution was first wrapped in flannel and kept with naphthalene balls.
* In the year 1994, in the Library of Parliament House, it was secured in a chamber prepared with the scientific method.
* Earlier it was seen how constitutions have been protected in other countries of the world. In this investigation, it was found that the US Constitution is in the safest environment.

* The one-page Constitution of America is housed in the Helium Gas Chamber at the Library of Congress in Washington. This was followed by an agreement between the Getty Institute of America, the National Physical Laboratory of India and the Parliament of India to create a gas chamber in India.
* The Indian constitution is large and heavy in size, so the chamber became large. In this, all attempts to stop helium gas failed, then a nitrogen gas chamber was formed.
* Such a gas was required for paper protection, which is non-reactive (does not react with the gas). Nitrogen is also one such gas.
* The Indian constitution is written in black ink, so it could have been easily oxidized. Humidity was required to be around 50 grams per cubic meter to protect it. So created the airtight chamber for the constitution.
* Gas monitors have been installed in the chamber to maintain humidity. Every year the nitrogen gas of the chamber is emptied and the health of the constitution is examined.
* Checking of this chamber is also done every two months. It is constantly monitored by CCTV cameras.
