Bharat Darshan Tour organized by 38 Battalion of CRPF concluded on Thursday. As per official spokesman, 38 Battalion CRPF successfully completed Bharat Darshan Tour under supervision of Insp/Gd Ajay Kumar of 38 Battalion which was flagged off by Ram Kumar Commandant 38 Battalion CRPF, Smailpur on January 16, 2020.

"The see off function was hosted by Sweta Rana, Deputy Commandant with welcoming the chief guest, other dignitaries and children visited under Bharat Darshan Tour", spokesman said, adding that Ram Kumar addressed all present members and thanked them for making this tour successful and told them that such programs organized by CRPF commensurate the public friendly image of the Force and reflects its commitment towards contribution in the development of society. "Kumar also stated that under this tour all the 23 selected students visited Victoria Palace, Eden Garden cricket Stadium, Haworth Bridge, Birla Planetarium, Bellur Math, Dakshineshwar Kali Temple, Science City, Botanical Park, and Echo Park.

In addition to above, they also visited Rail Museum Hawroh, Millennium Park Dharamtalla, Avani Mall Dharamtalla, and Kali Ghat Temple. Under this tour wherever they visited they earned maximum knowledge about the historical heritage of holy places and others.

They were also made aware of the art, culture and living climate of Kolkata", the spokesman said, adding that at last all the students also interacted with the Governor of West Bengal Jagdeep Dhankar that helped them in increasing their confidence and morale.

In the see off function, Deepak Mehra, Second In Command, Devendra Singh, Second In Command, Sweta Rana, Deputy Commandant, Sanjay Mohanty Deputy Commandant, Principals of the respective Schools Kamleshwar Dubey, Middle School Makronwali, Anjana Kumari High School, Smailpur, Ex-Sarpanch Smailpur Swarn Singh, Rohit Charak Naib Sarpanch Kartholi and the personnel of 38 Battalion CRPF were also present. At the end of the closing ceremony, Deepak Mehra, Second-In-Command 38 Battalion CRPF presented the vote of thanks.
