Thirteen days International theatre festival ‘Nutan International Theatre Festival 2020’ is being conducted in the City of Temples from February 1, 2020 at Abhinav Theatre. It was stated by Anuroop Pathania, Festival Director while interacting with media persons here on Tuesday.

Pathania informed that 13 theatre groups, comprising top most directors and actors from stage and Bollywood, shall participate in the festival entitled ‘Nutan International Theatre Festival-NITF 2020’ which will be the biggest-ever theatre event in history of J&K UT. “The festival, to be held at three different venues, shall comprise thirteen plays in Jammu, ten in Amritsar and six at Jaipur. The festival will conclude in ending March,” Pathania added.

“A play from Nepal will be held in Jammu while one from Bangladesh will be held at Amritsar and other from Mayanmar will be staged at Jaipur along with other plays of national repute,” he said, adding that plays like Loona, Evam Indrajit, Chauthi Cigarette, Babuji, End Game, Court Martial etc will be staged during the festival by famous directors of country including Satyabrata Rout, Shilpi Marwaha, Mushtaq Kak, Ambika Kamal, Ajeet Singh Palawat etc.
