7 Indian-Americans in Forbes� list of richest people in US

Seven Indian-American have been featured on the Forbes� list of richest people in the United States. They are Zscaler CEO Jay Chaudhry, Symphony Technology founder and chairman Romesh Wadhwani, Wayfair CEO Niraj Singh, Khosla Ventures founder Vinod Khosla, Sherpalo Ventures managing partner Kavitark Ram Shriram, airline veteran Rakesh Gangwal and Workday CEO and cofounder Aneel Bhusri.
The 2020 list, topped by Amazon chief Jeff Bezos for a third year in a row, includes 400 richest people in America. It may be noted that the richest people in the US saw their wealth swell despite the economic distress caused by the pandemic. Bezos is followed by Bill Gates with a net worth of $111 billion. Forbes also said that the 400 richest Americans have seen their collective wealth increase $240 billion this year. Their combined net worth stands at $3.2 trillion. Some of the other prominent names on the Forbes list include Facebook founder and CEO Mark Zuckerberg, Berkshire Hathaway CEO Warren Buffet and Oracle co-founder Larry Ellison. President Donald Trump is also on the Forbes� list of richest people in the US. He ranked 339th on the list with a net worth of $2.5 billion.
