Zee5 is all set to release Haddi. Directed by debutant Akshat Ajay Sharma, it stars Nawazuddin Siddiqui, Anurag Kashyap, Ila Arun, and Mohammed Zeeshan Ayyub among others. The film is produced by Zee Studios, Sanjay Saha, and Radhika Nandani's Anandita Studios.
Written by Akshat Ajay Sharma and Adamya Bhalla, Haddi is a crime-revenge drama that features Nawazuddin Siddiqui in a unique avatar. Nawazuddin is all set to play two different characters, Haddi and Harika, a transgender woman. The first look at the film was released last year.
Director Akshat Ajay Sharma says, "Haddi revolves around the whimsical world of revenge, violence, and power and explores the core of the criminal psyche. It exposes the ruthlessness of society. It took me a lot of time to flesh out the characters and create them. I hope Haddi exceeds expectations by leaving an indelible mark on the audience's heart."
