May 26, 2025: Mehraj Malik, the president of the Aam Aadmi Party's J&K unit and a member of parliament from Doda, visited the districts of Rajouri and Poonch to engage with the people who had been subjected to intense shelling from Pakistan. He assured them that AAP members of parliament would bring attention to the relief and rehabilitation efforts as well as other pressing concerns of the local population in the J&K Assembly and Parliament.
Mehraj Malik also went to the Govt Medical College in Rajouri, where he spoke with patients who had been hurt in Pakistani shelling, asked them how they were feeling, went over the treatment they were receiving, and wished them a quick recovery. Malik also went to the shelling-affected districts of Uri and Kupwara, where he spoke with the locals who had been impacted by cross-border shelling, engaged with the shelling victims, and showed support for them.
In addition, MLA Doda stated during his tour to Kashmir that the Modi administration's Operation Lotus and washing powder policies did not work in the cases of Arvind Kejriwal, Manish Sisodia, Satyinder Jain, and AAP councilors in the MCD as well as the Council of Ministers and MLAs in the Delhi and Punjab governments. He claimed that the BJP-led government has been thoroughly exposed due to white lies, corruption, unemployment, the extraordinary increase in the prices of LPG, diesel, petrol, fertilizers, edible oil, pulses, and transportation fees, among other things. The people are tired of these policies and see the AAP as a viable alternative because of its pro-poor, pro-workers, pro-laborers, and pro-people policies that have been implemented in Delhi and Punjab. He asserted that the public has seen through the polarization game played by all traditional political parties and that no one can be deceived indefinitely.
